Garry Whitaker :: Raven DesignRaven Design was started in 1993 by the current Managing Director, Garry Whitaker, as an independent instructional design and development business.

Garry was an internal change consultant with Sydney Water before taking on a role as Instructional Designer for the National Professional Education Division of Coopers & Lybrand.

He took some time out from consulting to fill the role of Field Training Manager Australia / Asia for Orica Mining Services.  Orica Mining Services is the world's largest manufacturer of explosives and blasting services to the mining and construction industries.  During this time he was a member of the national steering committee of the Resources and Infrastructure Industry Skills Council review and consolidation of five Mining Industry VET packages into one.

Garry is a professional company director and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He also is a distinguished volunteer serving with the NSW SES for more than 47 years and the NSW Rural Fire Service for 14 years.
